廣島工業大學（Hiroshima Institute of Technology）建校已有60余年歷史，該校一直傳承建校者鶴虎太郎的治學理念“感情的教育”來經營學校。1956年在廣島市西面的蟹店市創立的“廣島電波高等學校”是廣島工業大學的開端。
